Introduction to Days of Light
This course is one of a series of Days of Light. Each day is complete in itself and as you study each one there is a cumulative effect, for each is designed to bring an enabling light to a different aspect of your being. Each of these days teaches you spiritual skills to bring you love, joy, inner peace and fulfilment. With each day come practical exercises to help you embody and use all that you learn.
Through the teaching of Zadkiel and Sananda these days bring you gifts of the new qualities of light that are streaming into our world now and over the coming years. These gifts are most effectively received, integrated and used when we come together, whether in the outer world or on the inner planes. As you listen to these guided meditations you have the opportunity to experience yourself as part of a universal community of light and love.
Introduction to Connecting with Love
‘Love is the bridge between you and everything’ – Rumi.
This is a time in which we are invited to discover our divinity and to allow the light and love of our divine essence to find expression in our lives and in the world.
In this course Sananda and Zadkiel guide you through a process of awakening a specific starlike seed of light that exists within your heart centre. You might think of this light as a doorway between your divine and your human self. As this seed of light germinates and grows it releases a quality of light that traditionally has been known as ‘glory’. The light of glory is seen as the revelation of our inner light, a luminosity that grows as we embody it.
Intrinsic to the growth of this light is the capacity to connect with a deepening unconditional love. In all the inner journeys here you are guided to anchor the light in your life by exploring the connections of your divine essence with all that is.
The development of this light happens over time at a pace and on a scale that is appropriate and relevant to each of us. As you study this course you will be gently guided to tune into this developing light at the level that is most helpful for you at this time.
Introduction from Sananda and Zadkiel
We invite you to participate in an initiation of the heart. Within your heart resides a seed of light that you brought with you into this reality from beyond time and space, from the realms of your divine self. This seed confers upon you knowledge of your sure connection with the Source of All. As it opens this living knowledge reaches out into your world to connect with the hearts of many. Together you begin to form a wonderfully stable network of light that transcends the limitations of time and space, enabling you to draw upon the wisdom and love of many, wherever they are in the world and whatever time frame they exist in, whether past, future or now.
This network of love and light is able to receive the next stage of the Divine Blueprint for humanity, which is so beautiful that is is only when you come together in love and oneness that your consciousness is sufficiently expanded to contain its gifts.
Suggestions for studying
As you listen to these inner journeys, trust your ability to follow the guidance of Sananda and Zadkiel. As much as you can, let yourself go with the energies that are being transmitted and trust that your understanding of them will develop. We have created exercises that help you embody and practise these skills. All of these exercises can be incorporated into your life; practise them at any point during your study of the course.
Take as much time as you want to study this course. You may like to listen to each inner journey several times before moving to the next, or you may like to listen to them all once and then return to the beginning or pick out favourite journeys. Find your own way, the way that suits you best.
A note on Soul and Divine Self
As Sananda and Zadkiel are defining them these two terms have distinct meanings. By soul, they mean the greater beingness from which we emerged to live a human life. Our soul grows through our experiences and holds for us a vision of joy. Our soul’s love is unconditional and unceasing. Our soul has a very different experience of time than we do; for the soul our past. present and future can be considered concurrent. Our divine self, on the other hand, can be thought of as existing beyond time and to be essentially unchanging, even to be beyond experience. It is like a drop of the essence of the Source of All that our soul is helping us to realise in our life here on Earth.

Since these meditations may take you into deep states of relaxation, do not listen to them when driving or doing anything, such as operating machinery, that requires you to be alert and focused on the outer world.

Track 1: Love All Around (24:30)
With Sananda’s guidance you bring love and light to your human presence at different levels: the muscles, the cells, the atoms and molecules, and the etheric. You are awakening the next stage of Divine Blueprint within each cell, freeing radiance from atoms and releasing light from physical matter. Your etheric body is permeated with the loving presence of angels and beings of light as you come before Central Spiritual Sun. This Sun is also arising in the heart.

Track 2: Connecting with Self (24:33)
Zadkiel takes you on a journey to the outer reaches of the angelic realm where you meet with a particular group of angels who are working with individuals at this time. Within this group are a number of angels who are drawn to you and your energy. Together, in the beautiful space of your heart centre, these angels deepen your awareness of and connection to the loving light that you are.

Track 3: Connecting with Others (27:51)
Working once more with your specific group of angels this journey with Zadkiel enables you to get to know and recognise these beings as individual expressions of angelic energy, light and love. Then they assist as you begin to see even more clearly a similar individual expression of love in others.

Track 4: Awakening the Star within the Heart (24:50)
Sananda guides you to meet Zadkiel within the temple of your heart. Zadkiel then conducts you through an initiation of light, helping you awaken a special seed of light within the heart centre and to allow its light to expand outwards as you express more and more of your divine self.

Track 5: Connecting with the Divine (23:19)
Zadkiel and your angelic group support you as you revisit the angelic realms, to heighten your perception of the world, to see the wonderful ways in which everything is connected and to experience the love of the Divine that is within you and in everything, always.

Track 6: Universal Connection (24:47)
Sananda takes you again into your heart centre to witness and be with the growing light that is there. As you appreciate the beauty of the connections you make you may find a sense of the seed of light moving to a flowering. The angels assist you as you may begin to experience yourself sharing love in many unique relationships simultaneously.

Light Teachings
These teachings are selected to help you integrate and embody the energies that Zadkiel and Sananda have been transmitting in the inner journeys. Use them whenever you wish.
1: Different Strokes
There is a naturally occurring hormone known as oxytocin, also popularly known as ‘the love hormone’. The body produces this hormone in response to an openness, a willingness to bond with another. This is most pronounced during the birth process and helps the mother to bring the baby into the world, to nurture and to form a close bond with the child. This hormone is generated when people come together with an intent of seeing the best in each other, making communication and connection easier and deeper.
For this Day of Light we have learned of this simple and effective way of generating oxytocin and with it a greater feeling of connection – with ourselves or with others. Cross your arms and stroke down from your shoulders to your elbows. Repeat and continue for at least 30 seconds, more if you wish. It works for us and others we’ve shared it with. Do let us know how this is for you. If you are with others, you could face each other and take it in turns to stroke each other’s arms. Or you can hug, gently hug, for at least 30 seconds to get the connection effect.
2: Sprinkling Love
Recently, after a lovely meal out, I chose vanilla ice cream rather than one of the grander deserts. When this arrived both my friend and I were surprised and delighted to see that the plain desert had been made fun and beautiful by the addition of a few bright muli-coloured sugar strand sprinkles! Something so simple and unexpected lifted the pleasant and ordinary into a dish of delight. I was immediately reminded of something Sananda had said during our preparation for this day, ‘Love: stir in, spread on, sprinkle over every morsel [of life]’. And here was an example right in front of me. Someone in the kitchen had cared enough to add a little extra, a little love, and some sugar strands too. It’s the intent that counts. Love is an amazing ingredient. Love is sugar-free, calorie-free, cost-free and priceless. So here’s an invitation to practise adding many love sprinkles to all areas of your life and the lives of others.
3: Random Acts of Kindness
This is simple, yet we’ve sometimes found this takes some achieving every day if we remain indoors! Our guidance is that consciously creating random acts of kindness for one week is a valuable foundation for increasing connection. If you enjoy it, practise for a month or more. According to our guidance anyone who can practise this for a whole year will be ‘radiant’. Let us know!
Kindness can come in the form of a smile, an honest compliment, holding open a door, letting another driver out at a junction, or let a pedestrian cross when it is safe, taking time to listen when we have other things to do, etc. These are small things that many do anyway without much thought. It is valuable to do this consciously, recognising the divine spark in the other. Material random acts of kindness count too, of course: adding an extra item to your shopping to give to a food bank, treating the person behind you in a queue to a parking token, cup of coffee etc, all according to your means and the ability of the other to receive.
A bonus can be that, by practising the concept of kindness happening at random, it becomes easier to accept random gifts of love from out of the blue. The universe is always willing to connect with you in a whole variety of loving ways, and not only in answer to a specific request.
