You live in a world of movement and change. It is natural to experience love as something you give and receive; it moves between you. Yet you also are love. There is a stillness at the heart of your being that is the love that you are. You can be this stillness and in doing so, relieve yourself of a kind of work you may have unconsciously committed yourself to.

One of the best ways of looking after your mind is to rest it. You live in a world in which a busy mind is normal and a more active mind can seem like a fitter mind. Thoughts wear grooves and habitual thoughts can create deep grooves that may become ruts that are difficult to free yourself from. Resting your mind gives it the opportunity to relax back into its naturally responsive state.
If you are human, you have probably noticed that not all of your thoughts are beautiful, and you might like it if more of them were. So how might that be done? This article suggests an approach you may find useful and several tips or skills that you can use separately or in combination.
Let’s begin by considering what thoughts actually are. Perhaps we could say that there are two kinds of thoughts: thoughts you consciously choose to think, such as ‘What shall I have for dinner tonight?’ and thoughts that just turn up, apparently unbidden, and that you discover yourself in the process of thinking. It is this second category that can seem perplexing and beyond your control. You may not choose to worry about your health, say, but can you find yourself doing it anyway.
The direction of human evolution is to greater consciousness. In this lifetime you may find your consciousness expanding considerably. So if you find yourself concerned about your thoughts and, more generally, the contents of your mind, begin by recognising this concern as part of your evolution, your choice to become more conscious. Enjoy your capacity to generate thoughts; it’s a wonderful ability. You use this ability in many remarkable ways. Recognise the process as a great gift.
You can find within yourself a place of perfect peace, the home of your divine self. This place is not so far removed as it might sometimes seem. You may come to it with a soft intention; that is, an intention that is absolute without being forceful, for this is an intention that recognises a tide in all things that is carrying you towards freedom.
Such a freedom comes from an inner knowing that you are present. In every present moment a doorway – wide open – exists and takes you to your divine self.
Imagine what it feels like for the caterpillar turning into a butterfly. What does it leave behind? What does it carry forward? How does it navigate through the void? You too know the process of transformation. You moved from childhood to adulthood; old ways of understanding yourself were left behind when you had to create a new identity. You live in a time when other kinds of profound transformation are available to you. The Sun is changing its nature, in that the soul of the Sun is making available to humanity qualities of energy that were previously difficult to access, hidden in the depths of the Sun’s spiritual body.
Imagine the past as a cellar full of bric-a-brac. It isn’t of no value, but it can trap you. Imagine piling it all up so that you can climb up and out through the trapdoor into the present. The past is filled with rich experience. It has brought you to the present. You have grown […]
Your light makes a difference to the children of the world. You can lay your light down as a path along which children may come into this world. That path of light makes it easier for them to bring more of their soul’s light with them. It diminishes the abruptness of the shift between realities, […]
You come to Earth through the Sun. You as a being, as pure presence, pass through the Sun in order to gather the forms of light that grant you a physical presence here on Earth. These forms of light are of immense beauty. You yourself as a being have immense beauty. Your time on Earth […]
You are the shapers of light. You take light and shape experience out of it. Collectively humanity is now seeking to create experiences that are increasingly joyful. A critical mass has been reached; enough of you believe that this is possible, for it to become an established guiding principle for human consciousness. Until comparatively recently, though many believed this, you were like isolated pools of water. Now those pools are uniting to form a lake: a resource that all of humanity can draw upon.
In most traditions here on Earth, the Earth has been seen as Mother. Your physical body is given to you by the Earth, just as the body you were born with was given you by your mother, so this makes very good sense.
But if we look at a different level, we might see something different. At this time the Earth has newly completed a cycle of activity and from the heart of the Earth comes a burst of light which is given to the Sun.
You live in a world full of ghosts. At this time light entering your world is reorganising some of the electro-magnetic templates that underpin your reality. As this happens you may find your attention drawn to the presence of ghosts; the light is revealing them. You need never fear ghosts; in essence you may say that a ghost is a cry for help frozen in time and space. The incoming light tends to melt what is frozen, so this can be a powerful time for assisting ghosts to free themselves from entanglement in this reality.
You can place the sun in your heart. Indeed in some ways your heart may be thought of as the seed of a future sun. So the sun can find an easy home in your heart. All you need do is invite it and then open the door of your heart to welcome it in.
Then it begins to shine on your life. The light shines on all aspects of your life with equanimity. Everything evolves in this light of your inner sun.
You are perfect already. Therefore understand that when you grow, it is because to grow is natural to you, not because there is error to correct or a fault to erase.
Learn to desist from judging yourself and others; keep practising, for it takes practice. Does this mean that the world turns to chaos without the force of condemnation? Emphatically no! For all healing comes from love and it is love that connects you all. When you judge, connection is broken.
Your guide experiences great joy in your company.
Your guide is not confined in physical space. She or he can be with you as a diffuse presence of love holding a vision of your joy or can coalesce into a presence with which you can relate and communicate. In the diffused state your guide can add light to your aura, just as you might water a flower. When you are receptive gifts are given, when not they are withheld. Watering a flower is not always helpful; you do not have to be receptive all the time.
Can you grant others the freedom to be themselves? Even in your thoughts? Can you watch without judging even if they writhe and flail in the struggle to throw off the illusions that have kept them from being themselves?
Can you do this for yourself? Can you observe with love and compassion your own struggles to become yourself – alive, conscious, loving and joyful?
This is a time of birth into the new. You do not yet know who you are. You are discovering what is truly you and what is just a surface coating, a temporary protective shell.
When the Sun warms water, water evaporates and rises towards the Sun. There it gathers new light; it is renewed. The molecules of water receive an update of the Divine Plan. Light comes anew from the Source of All through the consciousness of the Sun to be given to the Earth as rain or snow.
When light is refracted through raindrops to create a rainbow, you can see the light of oneness revealed in the colours of the spectrum; the one becomes many.
