When you move into worship, you move into oneness. There ceases to be a distinction between you worshipping the Source and the Source worshipping you.
At some point in this process you may discover an observer: some part of you is observing this process and is therefore to some extent outside of it. For worship to be complete the observer must relinquish its role. But how might this be done?
The part of you that is the observer is very important. It sits and watches all the events of your life and creates a story, or multiple stories, out of them. In many ways it is the glue that holds your personality self together, and to have that self fall apart can feel very frightening. If you let the observer dissolve into a sea of oneness, what remains of you?
If you choose to enter a state of worship, the first thing you may encounter is an unworthiness or a reluctance to receive love. This is natural. When you acknowledge your own divinity and the indissoluble connection of your divinity with the Source of All, something is going to scream. What screams is every part of you that has hidden for shame. Worship brings these parts blinking into the light and expecting punishment.
There is no punishment. You are innocent in the eyes of God, whatever you have done or not done. A jewel is no less a jewel for having picked up some mud on its travels. But for you, to know that you are innocent is a skill. This skill can be acquired through worship.
Day of Light 5: Free to Love with Sananda and Zadkiel channelled by Christopher and Carrie General Introduction This course is one of a series of Days of Light. Each day is complete in itself and as you study each one there is a cumulative effect, for each is designed to bring an enabling light […]
You can find within yourself a place of perfect peace, the home of your divine self. This place is not so far removed as it might sometimes seem. You may come to it with a soft intention; that is, an intention that is absolute without being forceful, for this is an intention that recognises a tide in all things that is carrying you towards freedom.
Such a freedom comes from an inner knowing that you are present. In every present moment a doorway – wide open – exists and takes you to your divine self.

The Day of Light: Free to Love brings this light to our hearts to awaken a new level of knowing that we are one with the Source of All […]
In most traditions here on Earth, the Earth has been seen as Mother. Your physical body is given to you by the Earth, just as the body you were born with was given you by your mother, so this makes very good sense.
But if we look at a different level, we might see something different. At this time the Earth has newly completed a cycle of activity and from the heart of the Earth comes a burst of light which is given to the Sun.
You can place the sun in your heart. Indeed in some ways your heart may be thought of as the seed of a future sun. So the sun can find an easy home in your heart. All you need do is invite it and then open the door of your heart to welcome it in.
Then it begins to shine on your life. The light shines on all aspects of your life with equanimity. Everything evolves in this light of your inner sun.
When the Sun warms water, water evaporates and rises towards the Sun. There it gathers new light; it is renewed. The molecules of water receive an update of the Divine Plan. Light comes anew from the Source of All through the consciousness of the Sun to be given to the Earth as rain or snow.
When light is refracted through raindrops to create a rainbow, you can see the light of oneness revealed in the colours of the spectrum; the one becomes many.
As you grow the range of connections you make increases. You can make connections that are vivid and enriching with others around the world whom you may not know personally, may not have a name or location for, but with whom you feel a deep affinity.
Such connections are possible when you feel safe, safe to be yourself, safe in your relationship with the world. Perhaps in the past you have used criticism and judgement as a way of creating a space in which you could feel safe. Your judgement would push others away and gave you a territory of rightness you could claim as your own.
