Your physical heart has its own electromagnetic field just as the Earth does. One function of the heart’s electromagnetic field is to keep the cells which make up your heart in touch with one another.  It also helps the cells to pass information through time to the cells which succeed them. The Earth’s electromagnetic field functions in a similar way, if you regard you yourselves as being something like individual cells in the overall body of the Earth. Through its electromagnetic field the Earth imparts information and assists you to keep in alignment with one another.

Opening the field

You are now entering a period where the Earth’s electromagnetic field is opening to receive more charged particles from the Sun.  The process itself is a normal one, happening all the time.  What is changing is the volume of energy to be received and the nature of the subtle qualities carried by this increased volume.  You might say it has needed an increased volume of charged particles to carry the dynamic energies which are moving into the Earth plane.

Your heart’s electromagnetic field will also be affected by this energy from the Sun.  As these charged particles encounter the magnetosphere of the Earth they generate a resonance in the heart’s own electromagnetic field: the same subtle qualities carried from the Sun by these charged particles now appear within the electromagnetic field of the heart. In particular, these new qualities make it easier for cells to release old patterns that have become redundant, instead of passing them on to the next generation of cells.

Your heart centre

These gifts are offered to you, not imposed upon you.  It is your willingness, your choosing to align as best as you are able with Divine Will or the wisdom of your soul or Higher Self, that connects you with the souls of the Earth and the Sun and aligns you with them.  With that alignment you are then able to receive more of the gifts that are offered.

It is your heart centre above all that enables you to experience that alignment.  Consider that any inability you may have had to love each and every being on Earth unconditionally is only due to a misperception, and that any such misperception is born out of the past.  Then you can see how you might consciously use these new gifts from the Sun to release old patterns and open your heart centre to a new level of unconditional love in a way that is equivalent to, and also helpful to, the process of releasing which is being offered to the cells of your physical heart.

You might imagine that within your heart centre there are innumerable locations, or perhaps innumerable combinations of subtle energies, that enable you to offer unconditional love to each and every individual human on Earth.  As you do this more and more, you are moving into greater alignment with Earth, for this is the nature and purpose of the Earth, to love all beings unconditionally.

Playbox: Your heart is a palace

• Imagine your heart centre as a palace with many, many rooms.  Some of these rooms are familiar, some as yet unknown.  At the heart of this palace is a beautiful garden with a fountain at its centre.

• Explore your palace. Open the door into a room you have not visited before.

• Imagine this room is filled with a uniquely beautiful light.  As you step into the room and look around, you begin to absorb the gifts of this light. It is helping you to feel love for someone or something (you do not need to know who or what) you have felt unable to love unconditionally before.

• Let yourself enjoy being in this room. Let the light that is here express its love for you.

• Explore as many of the rooms in the palace as you would like to, then make your way to the garden at the heart of the palace and sit beside the fountain, letting its waters bring you inner peace.

• As you return to the outer world acknowledge to yourself the richness, variety and extent of your heart centre.

These corridors are formed out of consciousness resonating with the consciousness of those at the other end of the corridor.  They are stable through time, but not rigid, being liable to fluctuations. This means that there are what one might call ‘auspicious’ times for travelling them.  Auspiciousness is governed by resonance with the Divine Presence. It’s not the quantity of Divine Presence, which is fairly stable within most cities of light (though still liable to fluctuations that generate a kind of shimmer), that make for auspiciousness, but the particular qualities emanating from the Divine Presence that guide, suggest or inspire meetings, instantaneous, momentary or prolonged, via these corridors.  In other words movement through these corridors is strongly in alignment with the guidance of Divine Will.

I believe cities of light within this galaxy (and probably beyond) are connected with one another by a gridwork of these corridors of light.  One might turn this around and suggest that cities of light have grown up at nexuses within a galactic gridwork of light, rather as human cities on Earth have grown up at the crossing points of rivers.

You might think that angels are for special occasions – announcements, miracles, times of deep need – for this is when they have been most often reported. Such appearances are part of their role, but a small part that says more about human consciousness than about who the angels are and what they do.

For it is when circumstances are extreme that you have tended to be able to shift out of the normal range of perception and connect with other realities or levels of consciousness. One of the ways in which humanity is changing in this age is that boundaries between realities or different levels of your own consciousness are becoming softer and less clearly marked. It is becoming easier for you to sense the angelic realms.  The angels are responding to this by becoming more present in your lives.

Don’t be concerned if at this point you are saying to yourself, ‘I never see angels’, and assume you must be less evolved. For angels are beings whose texture is very fine and they occupy a reality very different from your own. Your reality, the reality in which you live, is quite specialised. The earth plane with its energy taking on the forms of matter, space and time is unusual.  It takes an enormous amount of focused energy to hold it in place.  Ultimately that energy comes from you. But angelic beings hold the underlying structures and templates of this reality in place for you.

The relationship of you and the angels is a very profound one.  Deep in the very heart of your being a communion occurs, a continuous interplay of light and love between you and the angels. They observe the release of light from the core of your being, the expression of your Divine Self into this reality, and adjust the structures of this reality accordingly. So many of you have chosen to focus on your spiritual growth in this lifetime. It makes a difference; the angels notice and rejoice.

The nature of your reality naturally leads you to expect angels to appear to you in physical form, or something that equates to physical form – an image, a rustle of wings, a falling feather – and, of course all of these things can and do occur. But angels are everywhere.  Their substance is so fine it interpenetrates matter with complete ease.  In a certain way we might even say that your reality exists inside the consciousness of the angels. When an angel appears it is because that angelic consciousness has gathered itself into a form that you can recognise. So we might say that angelic consciousness is to you like water to a fish: it’s everywhere, it’s the medium in which you swim.

Angels are here to help; that’s their primary function.  They help in many ways, not all of which are obvious.  Certainly they respond to requests. Always allow yourself to ask for help; always know that help may not come in the ways you expect.  But much help comes though you have not consciously invited it. Each of you is a confederation of energies, and many of the energies of which you are made have a degree of autonomy. For instance, the cells which make up your physical bodies can also be experienced as temples of light, at the heart of which is a sacred flame which, in turn, has at its heart a divine spark that communes with the angels. The divine spark within each cell requests and receives in every moment help from the angels.  This is one of the ways in which your reality is both sustained and also changed.

The angels touch your consciousness in many different ways.  Their consciousness and yours are interwoven.  You are just beginning to discover the nature of the cloth created by this weaving together of your light and theirs. You are beginning to know yourselves as consciousness whose purpose is to bring joy to the oneness of which you are part.  And the angels support you in this discovery.

Now consider how you might come to know the angels in your life more clearly.  Here are some questions you can ask of yourself:

It also feels like compartments within the mental body – categories, memory groups, opinions and judgements, etc – begin to dissolve, so that mental energy is freed to a greater responsiveness.

It seems that focusing on the Divine Presence or our own Divine Self sets up a space into which other kinds of thought occur.  Inner knowing, inspiration, for instance, and perhaps above all presence – that is, thoughts crystallising into each perfect moment, if thoughts are appropriate in that moment at all. So thinking in a city of light may, among other things, be unknowable in advance, fresh made in each new moment.  And that, for most of us is a big shift, I think!

Peace is a powerful energy in its own right, not an absence of disharmony.  This Sananda has been recently emphasising in his teachings. And it’s not a single frequency pattern in the way that red or ultraviolet light might be.  It’s not even a combination of frequencies like a musical chord, where individual frequencies are in harmony with one another.  There’s something more.

Have you noticed how in debating or arguing a point with someone, finding a shared understanding can feel even better than winning?  Rather than one set of frequencies swamping another set, there’s a merging of frequencies, the creation of a chord.  And then there’s something else. Where that creation of peace happens, a receptivity happens also – a space into which the Divine Presence can enter.

Peace is not static either, but changes and evolves moment by moment.  It’s like a spring bubbling up, one thing but always changing.  We might imagine a city of light with a fountain at its centre, like many cities here in earlier times. The fountain nurtures all who live within the city.  They also sustain it by the multiple connections of peace they make with one another and the world.

Stranger, unless with bedroom eyes
I beckon you to fraternize,

I have no gun, but I can spit.

Even if we allow ourselves a more open sense of energy field, Auden, I think, expresses something most of us can recognise.

A city of light allows a far greater spaciousness for our individual energy fields; more room to breathe, you might say.  Like computers linked together in a network to perform functions beyond the capacity of  any individual computer, there’s scope for realisation and knowing to come to that expanded,  shared energy field.  There is a sense of overlap in a wholly positive way.  For we are able to share with one another all that helps us, uplifts us or aligns us with Divine Will.  It offers a stability too; just like the outrigger to a canoe or the multiple hulls of a catamaran, the connection, vivid and moment by moment, with the light of others, brings us balance.

It’s interesting to consider what kind of thoughts might accompany this process, what they might look like.  For our familiar thought patterns don’t seem very well suited to this process of shaping light.  And there are lots of ways of using our minds. I have a sense, for example, that the Neanderthals didn’t think very much at all, but nevertheless had very beautiful minds, perhaps using their brains as a kind of map in which all of their universe was modelled. Carl Jung wrote of meeting a Hopi elder, who described how odd he found the white Americans because they claimed to think with their heads, whereas for him thinking was done with the heart.  It may be that part of the prevalence of children on the autistic spectrum is due to their difficulty with thought processes we have tended to regard as normal and hardwired into our humanness.

With Sananda and some of the Heaven on Earth groups, we are beginning to explore what he calls ‘shared mind’ and this might be the kind mental space that is appropriate for the thoughts to be used in creating a city of light.  Shared mind is a little like creating a big empty canvas that invites inspiration and a beautiful creativity to arise.
